You might preview the same scenario in the Test tab twice in a row, without changing anything, and find that the predicted flow shows different customer numbers each time. This article explains why this happens and what to do about it.
Understand why numbers change
Predicted flows are estimates, not fixed results. Each time you generate a preview, the platform re-evaluates your project's customer data. Your project's customer data changes dynamically as customers meet or no longer meet your conditions, so that the numbers can shift with each preview rendering.
This behavior is expected and doesn't indicate a problem with your scenario.
What this means for your testing
Treat the predicted flow as a directional estimate rather than an exact count.
- Use the predicted flow to check whether your conditions and nodes behave as you expect, not to predict exact delivery numbers.
- Expect the actual flow after you activate the scenario to differ from any single preview.
- Preview the scenario again if your project's customer data changes significantly, so you work from a current estimate.
