Modifying an active scenario affects customers differently depending on the edit type and their current location in the flow.
Updating node settings
Existing Customers (In-Flow): Continue using the previous configuration. For example, customers already in a wait node retain original wait times.
New Customers: Use the updated node configuration immediately upon entry.
Deleting a node
Existing Customers (In-Flow): Processing stops immediately. Unprocessed customers inside the deleted node are dropped from the flow.
New Customers: Can't enter a deleted node.
Adding a node or changing connections
Existing Customers (In-Flow): Follow the updated path as soon as they complete their current step (for example, upon exiting a wait node).
New Customers: Follow the new path and routing logic immediately.
Updating action nodes
Existing Customers (In-Flow): Finish processing using the previous action configuration.
New Customers: Process using the updated action configuration.
Warning: Deleting a node immediately drops all unprocessed customers inside it. To prevent customer loss from active wait nodes, change outgoing connections to reroute traffic instead of deleting the node.
