Insufficient Permissions:
Many issues arise when the main user profile that created the integration is deleted or has restricted permissions. Ensure that the user has the highest rights on Facebook and is also a project admin in Bloomreach.
If the credentials for the Facebook account have changed, you may encounter an error similar to the one shown in the screenshot below. In this case, ensure that you log in with the correct credentials, and then refreshing the integration on Bloomreach's end should work.
Sometimes, simply refreshing the integration can resolve the issue. If this doesn't help, ask the user to check permissions and verify that the user has the necessary permissions on Facebook and Bloomreach. The user should have the highest rights on Facebook and be a project admin in Bloomreach. Ensure that the Custom Audience Terms are accepted.
Users may encounter errors like "Insufficient permissions for integration to work properly" or specific error codes such as (#200) The current user cannot update audience
. It often requires the user to refresh the integration, remove and re-add the integration, and ensure that the Custom Audience Terms are accepted.
Audience Size and Matching:
Facebook requires a minimum audience size of approximately 100 unique users. If the audience size is below this threshold, users will encounter errors.
Ensure that the data used for matching (emails, phone numbers) in Bloomreach Engagement matches the data used in Facebook accounts. Mismatched data can lead to low match rates and ineffective audience creation.
Scenario and Node Errors:
Errors in scenarios, such as insufficient permissions or incorrect node setup, can prevent customers from being added to Facebook audiences. Double-check the setup of each node and ensure that all necessary permissions and terms are accepted.
Consent Management:
Only customers with valid consent can be used for retargeting. Please check consent conditions early in the scenario to avoid generating unnecessary campaign events.
