If you don't receive a two-factor authentication (2FA) SMS code during login, follow this article to troubleshoot the issue and restore access to your account.
Check your SMS spam folder.
Open your phone's messaging app.
Check the Spam, Junk, Blocked, or filtered messages folder.
If you find the code, use the newest code to complete the login.
Confirm the login page and phone number
Make sure you are using the correct project or instance login page. Also check that:
Your phone is switched on and has a mobile signal.
The phone number linked to your account is correct.
Your phone or mobile operator isn't blocking automated SMS messages.
Check whether the issue affects one user or multiple users
If only one user is affected, check the phone, SIM card, mobile operator, and device-level filtering.
If multiple users are affected, contact support and include:
The project or instance URL.
The email addresses and phone numbers of the affected users.
The approximate time at which each user requested a code.
The troubleshooting steps you have already tried.
Request a 2FA reset
If you are locked out and need access quickly, request a 2FA reset from support. The affected user must confirm the request from their login email address.
After the reset, configure 2FA again. When available, we recommend using an authenticator app instead of SMS.
