Issue:

An attribute is successfully mapped in the catalog management but it doesn't appear under global facets.

Environment:

Issue is seen in the production dashboard though the attribute is present in the feed data.

Cause:

In the 'Manage dashboard UI display'' under advanced settings of the facet rule editor [Merchandising-> Global Merchandising --> Facets ], if the 'show only facetable attributes' option is selected then only 'Dynamic' facetable attributes that are present in the feed data are displayed under Global facets and manual facets does not appear though these are available in the feed.

Example:

'margin' is a manual facet and hence that does not appear if the 'show only facetable attributes' option is selected

Resolution:

Then user has to select the "Show all product attributes" option as seen in the below screenshot to ensure even manual facets are displayed along with dynamic facets.

Conclusion:

• The 'show only facetable attributes' option displays only 'dynamic' facets in the facet rule editor [Merchandising-> Global Merchandising --> Facets ]
