The Usage Dashboard MMS widget counts only processed MMS events with final statuses. It includes campaign events with an action type mms, type MMS, and status delivered, failed, or rejected.
Because of that, MMS campaigns can exist in analytics or reports while the Usage Dashboard still shows 0, especially when the visible events are only enqueued, enqueue_failed, clicked, or other non-final statuses.
How to verify the dashboard result
To compare the Usage Dashboard with a report, build a report based on campaign events, and use these filters:
action type =
mmstype =
MMSstatus =
delivered,failed, orrejected
If the report also shows 0, the Usage Dashboard result is expected, given the currently available data.
Example
In the following example, you can see the results match perfectly:
In the report, select 'This month' time filter:
Check the number of events.
Check the number of events against the value in the Usage Dashboard.
A mismatch often happens because analytics or custom reports include broader event statuses, such as enqueued, enqueue_failed, or clicked. Those events can show MMS activity, but they aren't counted as MMS usage in the widget.
When to contact support
Further investigation is needed if there is evidence that the MMS messages were sent and delivered, but no delivered events appear in Bloomreach.
In that case, contact support and provide:
Links to affected MMS campaigns
Links to affected customers
Example of affected phone numbers
With this information, support can investigate the missing delivery events further.
